African Project Developers’ Forum (APDF) launches Project Development Investment Benchmark Survey

By Staff Reporter | March 20, 2017

Johannesburg, South Africa; 20 March 2017: Today the Ai African Infrastructure Project Developers’ Forum (a group of over 200 infrastructure project developers working in Africa) announced the launch of its Project Development Finance and Investment Benchmark Survey initiative (I4PD Benchmark).

The I4PD Benchmark will provide a unique pan-African and global comparison of key aspects of project development finance and investment norms to inform decision-makers on important issues necessary to increase the pipeline of investable African infrastructure projects developed and their access to innovative and new sources of private capital.

In 2015, the Ai CEO Project Developers’ Summit, co-hosted with IFC InfraVentures inspired the establishment of the Ai African Project Developers’ Forum, a pan-African network of over 200 infrastructure project developers and early-stage financiers that share and publish thought leadership, promote best practice, discuss co-development opportunities; and are committed to improving the business environment for project developers and early stage financiers in Africa. (See: www.aidevelopersforum.com)

The results of the I4PD Benchmark and survey will be launched at the Ai CEO Project Developers’ Summit that will be co-hosted with Africa50, on 3 May 2017 in Durban, South Africa. (See: www.aidevelopersummit.com)

The APDF invites infrastructure investment professionals or project developers to take the survey through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/I4PD
