The Ai40 Index has fallen for a second week in a row, dropping 1.74% in value to 115.57, down from last week’s 117.58.
The Ai40 Index fell by 0.41% this week, dropping in value to 117.58 down from its high of 118.32 last week.
The Ai40 Index jumped 1.5% this week to reach 118.32, up from last week’s 116.51. African markets, long considered some of the world’s riskiest, are now reaping the benefits of healthier investor appetites and economic growth. The Nigerian equities market is leading the way, posting a return of 63% during the last 12 months.
The Ai40 Index was fairly stable this week, with big gains balancing out big losses. The Index value is now sitting at 116.51, up from last week’s 115.51.
